This Lawrence home owner was ready to have some painting done. We pressure-washed to remove surface dirt and caulked any seams that were stretched, or nail holes that were not covered and could allow moisture to penetrate the siding and rot it from the inside.
This house required extra planning and care, including the use of roof jacks to make areas above the roof line accessible, where it was too steep to stand on.
Once it was ready, our team sprayed on a nice, even coat of Sherwin Williams Super Paint exterior latex house paint on the siding, soffits, and stucco, and followed up with brushing and rolling the trim and the wooden windows and the front door and shutters. We also applied a new coat of solid color latex stain to the deck posts and the pergola. Re-applying exterior stain every 2-5 years is important to maintaining the integrity and color of stained wood surfaces.
This west Lawrence home will be in great shape for years to come. Another great project for Absolute Painting!
