This home near historic downtown Lawrence was badly in need of painting. The paint was flaking and peeling in large areas, particularly on the north and east sides. The customer was going to be selling the house, and they wanted to keep the same color scheme, but they knew it needed to be painted before putting it on the market.
Because of the age of this house, our team followed all the lead safe practices; this was especially important due to the home’s proximity to a local elementary school. Once all of the loose and peeling paint had been scraped and disposed of according to the RRP rules, then the fun part began: all of the exposed wood was primed with an exterior oil-based primer, and then the siding, soffits, trim, and doors all received 2 coats of Sherwin Williams Super Paint exterior latex house paint.
This paint job, done right by professional painters, adds a great amount of value to the lucky buyer once this house sells!
